Meiyazhagan OTT Release Date, Platform, & Time: Karthi's 27th film is the latest slice-of-life emotional drama written and directed by C. Prem Kumar. Titled Meiyazhagan, the movie is one of the most loved films of the year in Kollywood. It was released on September 27 worldwide to highly positive reviews in Tamil. The movie was immediately released in Telugu as 'Sathyam Sundaram' a day later due to Jr NTR's Devara release. In Tamil and Telugu, the movie won critical and commercial acclaim. Made on a humble budget by Suriya and Jyothika under their 2D Entertainment banner, this simple drama earned about Rs 52 Crore worldwide. For those who missed to experience the movie on the big screen, its digital streaming debut is around the corner


Meiyazhagan Synopsis:
 The movie is set in 1996. Arunmozhi Varman (Arvind Swami) was forced to leave his family house in Thanjavur along with his parents owing to a few problems. After 20 years, Arun returns to Thanjavur to attend his cousin's wedding and meets Meiyazhagan (Karthi). Eventually, he strikes a chord with Meiyazhagan but can't recognize who he is. Arunmizhi Varman returns to Chennai and tries to discover Meiyazhagan's identity.

Meiyazhagan OTT Release:
Leading OTT giant Netflix bought the wholesale digital streaming rights to Karthi's Meiyazhagan movie for a nice amount. The movie is likely to hit the streaming platform on October 25 but there is no official confirmation as yet.


Meiyazhagan Cast:
This slice-of-life movie stars Karthi, Arvind Swami, Sri Divya, Rajkiran, Swathi Konde, Devadarshini, Jayaparakash, Sriranjani, Ilavarasu, Karunakaran, Raichal Rabeccas, Merku Thodarchi, and Rajkumar among others in key roles.


 Meiyazhagan Crew:
 Written and directed by C. Prem Kumar, the movie was produced by Suriya and Jyothika under the 2D Entertainment banner on a budget of Rs 35 Crore. Govind Vasantha composed the film's entire background score and music. Mahendiran Jayaraju worked as the cinematographer and R. Govindraj was the film's editor.
